Soil pH Testing

Our FREE soil pH test helps identify whether your lawn’s soil is too acidic, too alkaline, or right on target — and that result determines the most effective treatment plan.

If your soil is too acidic (low pH):
Acidic soil can lock up nutrients, making fertilisers less effective and grass growth patchy or weak. In this case, we recommend a Lime Application to raise the pH and restore balance, allowing nutrients to do their job properly.

If your soil is too alkaline (high pH):
Alkaline soils can cause nutrient deficiencies and poor grass colour. A Sulphur Application helps lower the pH, making the soil more suitable for healthy turf growth.

If your pH is in the ideal range (around 6.0–7.0):
Great news — your soil is in a healthy range. From here, we may recommend ongoing fertiliser treatments, wetting agents, or liquid seaweed to build on that foundation and enhance growth, colour, and resilience.
